The thread is spun from whatever comes to hand.
A sculpture made of steel cable, Clotho functions as an archive of transformation. Welded seams, incisions, and ruptures register the material’s condition following exposure to heat and pressure. Heat becomes a tool of inscription, leaving traces of deformation and fusion across the metal surface.
The form is held between connection and disintegration. Its surface preserves the memory of each intervention.
